Hans-Jürg Hunziker

Hunziker is a Swiss typographer and type designer who studied at the School of Design in Basel, Switzerland. In his early years he worked for Mergenthaler in Brooklyn, later on for Adrian Frutiger (Atelier Frutiger), Bobst Graphic, Microtype etc. Later on, he taught type design and typography at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Zürich (ZHdK), the Atelier de recherche typographique in Nancy, and the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (ZHaK).

His most prestigious type design project was the creation of the Siemens Corporate Type family as of 2000, together with Volker Schnebel/URW. He also designed additional styles for Helvetica and Univers Cyrillic for Linotype/Monotype.
