The German Heinrich Wieynck was born in Barmen on September 15, 1874 and died on September 4, 1931 in Saarow. He studied at the Institute of the Royal Arts and Crafts Museum in Berlin from 1894 to 1896. He went on to work as a draftsman and went to Paris and other cities from 1896 to 1900. From 1901 to 1910, he worked in the library of the Arts and Crafts Museum in Berlin and worked as a teacher from 1910 to 1914 at the Urban Arts and Crafts School of Berlin. In 1914, he was appointed Professor at the Academy of Arts in Dresden.
