Dard Hunter
Produced in association with The Burchfield-Penney Art Center (Buffalo, New York), the Arts and Crafts family is derived from Roycroft books and periodicals designed by multi-faceted artist: Dard Hunter between 1900-1910. Dard Hunter was arguably one of the most influential graphic designers to come out of the American Arts and Crafts movement.
The main Arts and Crafts alphabet is an all-caps based on Dard Hunter's famous Viennese style lettering which has become synonymous with the Roycroft movement. It contains 5 weights with various ligatures in all weights. The family also contains two additional Dard Hunter designs, Hunter and Tall, authorized by his grandson, Dard Hunter III. The family is rounded out by 2 decorative ornament fonts to give your documents a unique and distinguished mission-style appearance.
