Font Designer – Ihsan Al-Hammouri

Ihsan Al-Hammouri, born 1973 in Zeroa, Jordan, created the font Insan™ in 2005.

Insan is a modern Arabic typeface in three different weights. The design is based on simplified Naskh with a very low modulated stroke treatment. It is suited for text settings, especially in brochures and magazines. It is characterized by a large body height and open counters and as such can be used in small sizes. The font includes a matching Latin design and support for Arabic, Persian, and Urdu. It also includes proportional and tabular numerals for the supported languages.
