Font Designer – Ludwig Übele

Ludwig Übele studied graphic design in Germany and Finland and worked in design agencies in Germany and abroad. After completing the postgraduate course “Type and Media” at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (NL) in 2007, he started work as a freelance type designer, was teaching type design and launched the label TypeManufactur for Georg Salden’s typefaces. He has received several awards for his type designs, such as TDC2 2008, Granshan 2009 and TDC2 2010.
