Font Designer – David Crow
David Crow was born in Galashiels, Scotland in 1962. Crow studied graphic design in Manchester in the early 1980s before moving to London where he lived and worked for eight years. He returned to the north of the UK and to education, in the mid 1990s where he taught graphic design in Salford and Liverpool. Professor David Crow is currently Head of School of Design at Manchester Metropolitan University. His work is primarily related to semiotics, in particular the mechanical notation of visual language.
