In 2008, Jos Buivenga designed Fertigo, which became one of his most popular typeface designs. Fertigo has the flowing, humanistic flair of an Italian script and the regular round shape of a Roman book font. While working on the Fertigo cursives, the designer was inspired to design a suitable script variant. The result is the charming, lively Fertigo Script, which is ideal for packaging or can be used in corporate design.

Fertigo covers the Western- and Central-European language areas, as well as Croatian, Romanian, Icelandic, Turkish and Esperanto. In addition, different ornamental and decorative characters are available in the Fertigo set.
