Font Designer – Botio Nikoltchev

Botio Nikoltchev was born on 29 March 1973 in Sofia, Bulgaria and moved to Berlin to study. There he completed studies in communications design at the Potsdam Technical College. He focused on typography and, after his studies, went on to work for Ralph du Carrois and Erik Spiekermann and others at Carrois Type Design. There he worked primarily on Cyrillic, Greek and Arabic font versions. In 2014 Nikoltchev founded his own type foundry, lettersoup.
