Society of Fonts

Established in 2017, Society of Fonts is the foundry of Brandon Buerkle.Working through the lens of their Quaker values, they strive to use lettering as social entrepreneurship. Society of Fonts works to create letterforms to serve the promotion of peace, equity, and social & environmental justice. This includes selectively choosing for custom work clients that share these values, creating accessible fonts by including as much language support as they can, and teaching the next generation of typographers and type designers what they’ve learned about values-based design.
