Font Designer – Jason Walcott

Jason Walcott, born in Trenton, Michigan 1971. From 1989 to 1991 he studied architecture and 3D design at the University of Maryland College Park. Two years later he attended Kean College in New Jersey, where in 1997 he obtained a degree in illustration and graphic design. During that time he discovered an aptitude for typography and font design that led him to design his first font, Holiday Times. As the library of his fonts grew, he started to commercialise them in 2001. He has developed more fonts and also works as a freelance graphic designer in West Hollywood, California.
