Wedding Singer – a typographic duet that hits all the right notes

Wedding Singer usage sample

It began with the lettering on a wedding invite. As stepfather to the bride, Typographer of 30-plus years George Ryan volunteered to design his step-daughter’s wedding invites. At the time he was working on a sans serif typeface, and saw in its italic the potential for lettering to adorn the printed wedding invitations.
Four years after the successful invites, George revisited the lettering and expanded the initial character set into a full typeface. Monoline, inclined, and with a large reader-friendly x-height, Wedding Singer™ is suitable at a range of sizes, and therefore suitable for both text and display. Oh, and it looks wonderful on wedding invitations too! This elegant and versatile script is available in two weights, bold and light.
OpenType alternates and a large character set that supports most Central European and many Eastern European languages combine to make an eminently usable and typeface. 880 glyphs per font for your typographic pleasure.
