Eloirian font family
Designed by João Coelho in 2021
The Eloirian typeface is an experience of rationalization of the subconscious, study and interpretation of patterns designed by an irrational way. It depends on specific rules created to enable and allow coded writing based on Latin characters (Roman Alphabet), trying to achieve graphics that appear to be random. By itself, The Eloirian typeface stands as a writing system.
As many scripts it depends on character combinations to be properly written. Making its main writing mode Ligatures: Upper case fits with lower case, by a horizontal axis;
Upper case does not fit with upper case;
Lower case fits with lower case by a vertical axis; Rotating the characters by the order desired to
be written, in the direction of the imaginary axis placed between the two characters.
The lower case being the horizontal mirroring of the upper case, to learn and decode the
Eloirian script, just keep in mind this set of rules, along with the uppercase characters.
