Albertus Nova
In designing the Albertus® Nova typeface, Toshi Omagari revived a number of alternate capital letters created by Berthold Wolpe that were unavailable in the original digital version of the design. Omagari created five weights for Albertus Nova, including thin, light, regular, bold and black, using Wolpe’s original designs as inspiration. Greek and Cyrillic versions were also added, making Albertus Nova a typeface a natural for modern, global applications.
The Albertus Nova designs are one of the five designs in The Wolpe Collection of typefaces.
