Font Designer – Wilhelm Pischner

Wilhelm Pischner was born on January 5, 1904 in Offenbach am Main, Germany. He completed an apprenticeship as a typesetter from 1918 to 1922 at D. Stempel AG in Frankfurt and worked there until 1940. At the same time, he studied graphic design at the Master School of the German Trades in Offenbach and worked there as a freelance graphic designer after the Second World War. In Frankfurt, he worked from 1961 to 1969 as a draughtsman at the Archaeological Institute of the University. Pischner died on July 7, 1989 in Offenbach.
