Dieter Hofrichter, born in Mannheim, studied applied graphics at Nuremberg Academy of Art and worked as an assistant to Günter Gerhard Lange and as a font designer in the studio of H. Berthold AG in Munich/Taufkirchen. He has been designing fonts for BertholdTypes Ltd. since 1999.
