Venus Envy™ font family

Designed by  Lloyd Springer
Venus Envy is based on a typestyle found on a 1960s grade B movie poster. Venus Envy was a term coined by the legendary planetary adventurer, Spaceman Freud. Through careful studies he learned that planets with very few moons (such as the Earth, which only has one) can tend to be envious of planets which have numerous moons (such as Venus) which has five moons and is the envy of our solar system. The S-factor fonts are the same as the regular Venus Envy fonts except that alternate S and s characters have been substituted. The S-factor fonts also contains the distinctive alternate V and alternate E and F characters without the rounded edges. Due to the strict naming conventions required for PC fonts, the Black fonts are called Bold for PC users, and the 2 additional families Venus Envy Condensed and Venus Envy S-factor exist for PC users only. Mac users will find all the font styles housed under the one Venus Envy roof. If you are looking for condensed fonts in the style of Venus Envy, check out the companion family called Starship Command.. In the PC version of this font family the style names are slightly different from those used in the Mac versions. But the fonts are otherwise identical.
