Font Designer – Joseph Stitzlein

Font designer Joseph Stitzlein comes from Portland, United States, and studied at the College of DAAP at the University of Cincinnati. Today, he works as a Creative Director at Nike in Portland. He previously worked at Landor Associates, Stone Yamashita Partners, Chronicle Books, Pentagram and CKS Partners. He lived in San Francisco for some of these jobs. His font Monolein was published as a corporate typeface for Silicon Graphics Inc. in 1999. ITC Tactile came out in 2002, which was also created as a corporate font initially. It won a Type Designers Club prize in 2003.
