Mostra Nuova is based on a style of lettering often seen on Italian Art Deco posters and advertising of the 1930s. Each weight of Mostra includes five fonts, a main font and four secondary fonts. The main font contains all letterforms, including alternates. The alternates represent commonly-found variations in Italian Art Deco lettering. The alternate characters can be used in any combination to capture a particular mood or style. Stylistic Sets are provided in the main font to achieve differnt looks. (See the Mostra Nuova User Guide for more information.) The secondary fonts provide specific sets of alternate characters for applications that lack full OpenType support. There are six weights ranging from Thin to Black. Mostra Nuova features a full international character set supporting most Western Latin-based languages and extensive kerning tables for display setting. (Note: Mostra Nuova is an expanded and enhanced version of Mostra, which was released in 2001.)
