About Briem Mono font family

Gunnlager Briem in his own words about this typeface: At the outset, I just wanted a slab-serif monospace that was not Courier. After it was done, I noticed a touch of Clarendon. The design has the usual look of monospaced typefaces (squeezed and stretched letters, large punctuation). Unfortunately, a few characters, the for instance, limit how bold such fonts can be made."
