Modern cutting-edge technology and digital sounds:
The Space & Techno Selection
To think of outer space not only calls to mind thoughts of endless distance but also of cutting-edge technology. The corresponding fonts are contemporary and futuristic, generously designed and have simplified and often rounded forms. The hint of the technological and the digitalised appearance of these typefaces also evoke the rave culture of the 1990s and the 2000s, so that they happily complement the minimalistic, bass beat-dominated soundscape of techno music. You can thus use the fonts provided in the modern OpenType format in our Space & Techno Selection to invoke the infinity of the universe and the digital sounds of techno music in your designs.
Brief information on the fonts making up the Selection:

Extreme construction and extreme width – the forms of Paris Koutsikos’ Acidvegas Regular are derived from that of a pixel font, thus reviving the computer game aesthetics of the 1980s.

Originally designed by Fidel Peugeot for use in low resolution mobile phone displays, this font transfers the effect of these early digital devices to paper.

The monolinear, synthetic letters of Neuropolitical Extra Light by Ray Larabie have something of the technological effect of a stencil font about them.

Bernd Pfannkuchen’ highly condensed Linotype Lichtwerk™ Bold is suggestive of the Constructivist movement of the 1920s.

By modifying Eurostile® by Aldo Novarese, Akira Kobayashi has created this variant of the font in which the minimalist and futuristic features of the original are further enhanced.
