Carlos Winkow a conçu Reporter en 1938 pour la fonderie Wagner. Les traits de cette police cursive intéressante semblent avoir été tracés au pinceau puis avoir séché. L'alignement est légèrement irrégulier, ce qui confère à cette police une impression de spontanéité. Reporter N° 2 est une version légèrement simplifiée de Reporter et de ses lettres qui comportaient de nombreux traits blancs dans leurs jambages et qui conféraient à l'original son apparence brouillonne.
