Arcadia™ a été créée en 1986 par le spécialiste britannique du graphisme, Neville Brody, pour la couverture du magazine Arena. Elle a ensuite été publiée en tant que fonte par Linotype GmbH en 1990.
Inspirée du style Art déco, Arcadia est une fonte haute et géométrique qui produit un effet saisissant et possède des caractères extrêmement étroits et contrastés. Sa variante possède des ascendantes et des descendantes plus prononcées destinées à être utilisées en plus petites tailles. Arcadia confère une grande élégance à la publicité, aux emballages, aux invitations et aux logos en tailles d'affichage.
