The repetition of simple geometric shapes forms a daily part of our environment. Throughout the 20th century – and into the 21st – typefaces whose designs have taken advantage of this have remained popular. But finding exactly the right mood can be tricky. The Chicago-based lettering designer Charles Hughes created the font Indy™ in 1990. The lowercase letters link together to evoke the look of true handwriting and complement a generous and graceful capital alphabet. Indy is a refined handwriting script ideal for anything needing a touch of elegance.
German designer Andreas Karl created the fonts Linotype Fluxus™ and Linotype Mailbox™ in 1997. Both fonts are included in the TakeType Library, chosen from the contestants of Linotype's International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997.

German designer Gunter Schwarzmaier created the font Linotype Leggodt™ in 1997. The font is based on the forms of the first fonts intended for multimedia, for example, OCR of Adrian Frutiger. These fonts could not yet be seamlessly displayed on a screen and look 'pixel-y'. Because of this extremely technical look, such forms have appeared in the typography trend of the 1990s.

Characters made out of jumping balls that jump on the floor. This could have been the inspiration for Piotr Wozniak to create letters in such a form. Its just a caps font. The uppercase letters are positive and the letters on the lowercase positions are reversed. Ideally to be used for Tennis clubs. A fun font which could create a nice logo.

Born in 1947 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. Graduated from the Faculty of Geodesy of Belgrade University and completed post graduate studies of photogrammetry at ITC Enshede, The Netherlands. The Algerian designer Taouffik Semmad created the fonts ITC Atmosphere™ (1997) and ITC Shadowettes™ (1998).
Taouffik Semmad grew up speaking Algerian-Arabic dialect and French, studied Russian, and is now living in Montreal. This could perhaps explain his current passion, to "find a universal writing", which he admits is a Utopian idea.
