La Carolina™ famille de polices appartient à la bibliothèque Linotype Originals.
Carolina est l'une des polices contenues dans la bibliothèque de polices « Type before Gutenberg », publiée en 1990. Elle contient le travail de 12 créateurs de polices contemporains et propose des styles de toutes les époques. Gottfried Pott a conçu la police Carolina dans la tradition typographique des manuscrits carolingiens. L'écriture très coulée donne au texte une allure élégante et légère.
