Linotype Pide Nashi fait partie de la bibliothèque Take Type. Elle a été sélectionnée parmi les fontes en compétition lors des éditions 1994 et 1997 du Concours international de création de fontes numériques sponsorisé par Linotype. Cette fonte a été créée par l'artiste allemande Verena Gerlach. Au premier coup d'œil, elle a l'apparence d'une fonte arabe mais en la regardant plus attentivement, les formes familières deviennent plus claires.
