The German designer Dieter Kurz created the fonts Linotype Matthia™ (1994), and Linotype Sketch™ (1997). Linotype Sketch fait partie de la bibliothèque Take Type, qui contient les fontes primées lors des éditions 1994 et 1997 du Concours international de création de fontes numériques sponsorisé par Linotype. Le graphiste allemand Dieter Kurz a doté cette fonte d'une apparence calligraphique.
