Frutiger Arabic

Designers have relied on the Frutiger typeface for three decades. Now, one of the world’s favorite sans serifs has a new companion family: Frutiger Arabic. Use these new Arabic fonts together with the Frutiger family or on their own! Just like the original, Frutiger Arabic is well-suited for use in any number of graphic design applications, from websites to magazines, and from logos to signage systems or annual reports.

Sukothai and Sirichana

Sukothai and Sirichana
This month, we continue our non-Latin promotion by announcing the OpenType release of two classic Thai typefaces: Sukothai and Sirichana. Sukothai is a traditional design, based on early metal types froom Linotype, while Sirichana is more streamlined in its appearance. Sirichana is a monolinear Thai design. The two typefaces may be used together or separately. In any event, they are sure to help bring your international graphic design work into the 21st century.

Bringing an old design back to life – Monotype’s Menhart Pro.

Menhart Pro

This typeface was first created for Monotype in 1934 by Oldrich Menhart. A Czech typographer and typeface designer, he devoted his career to bringing a true national quality to his letters and texts. The Menhart typeface has long been held in high regard by bibliophiles, but, until recently, the typeface had been available only for Monotype hot metal composition. Now, this design can be used in digital format for the first time. Menhart Pro is an OpenType format font family with all sorts of special features. Why not rediscover this past master today?
