Die originale SchriftNachdem die Pionierzeit der serifenlosen Linearantiqua beendet ist und sie zur Standardschrift wurde unter vielen anderen, kann man die Reichhaltigkeit dieser zunächst abstrakt, gleichförmig, kalt oder skeletthaft wirkenden Formen besser feststellen: wie in jeder Klassifikationsgruppe gibt es hier laute und leise Formen, feine und aufdringliche, statische und dynamische, und so weiter. Es gibt genauso viele gut und schlecht lesbare Groteskschriften wie in anderen Gruppen.
