Font Designer: Kris Holmes ITC Isadora® is the work of Kris Holmes, created to be an original script typeface which would express both modern calligraphic ideals as well as the finest traditional work of the 17th and 18th century English masters. Holmes named the typeface for dancer Isadora Duncan, whose dancing was strong and yet graceful and delicate, whose inspiration was classical but whose ideas were modern and liberating. Kris Homes schuf die ITC Isadora als eine Originalschreibschrift, die zu gleicher Zeit moderne kalligrafische Ideale als auch die feinste Tradition der englischen Meister des 17. und 18. Jahrhunderts in sich vereinen sollte. Holmes benannte seine Schrift nach der Tänzerin Isadora Duncan, deren Tanz kräftig und dennoch grazil und delikat war und die sich von der Klassik inspirieren ließ, jedoch auch moderne, liberale Ideen verfolgte. Diese gleichen Ideale verkörpert die ITC Isadora.
