The type foundry Otto Weisert in Stuttgart created Kalligraphia (1902) and Arnold Boecklin™ (1904). Traces of the floral forms of the Jugendstil can still be seen in Arnold Boecklin. Die Schrift Arnold Boecklin erschien 1904 bei der schriftgießerei Otto Weisert. Leicht sind in ihr die floralen Formen des Jugendstils erkennbar. Besonders deutlich wird dies durch die verspielt-verschlungenen Serifen. Alphabete dieser Art waren in erster Linie Plakatschriften und somit für große Schriftgrade bestimmt. Im Vordergrund stand nicht die Lesbarkeit sondern ihre dekorative Wirkung. Besondere Bedeutung hatte die Arnold Böcklin in der Buchgestaltung des Jugendstils. In Antiquariaten und auch auf Flohmärkten findet man diese Schrift noch häufig auf Buchtiteln, Einbänden, Überschriften, Einleitungstexten und als Initial. Heute wird sie häufig verwendet, wenn an die "gute alte Zeit" erinnert werden soll, so werben zum Beispiel Antiquitätenläden oft mit diesen Lettern.
