American designer Frank Marciuliano created the following fonts: Linotype Abstract™ (2002), Linotype Automat™ (2002), Linotype Breeze™ (2002), Linotype Constitution™ (2002), Linotype Isilda™ (2002), ITC Jaft™ (1996), ITC Jambalaya™ (1996), Linotype Labyrinth™ (2002), Linotype Lindy™ (2002), Linotype Mediterraneo™ (2002), ITC Schizoid™ (1997). All fonts from 2002 are included in the new TakeType No 4 which contains 182 fresh, new, experimental, freaky and above all contemporary fonts.

Font Designer: Frank Marciuliano Frank Marciuliano designed the basic forms of Linotype Constitution™ around those of the swash alphabets of the 18th century. While the capitals are generously designed, the lower case letters have more reserved forms and are narrower. The characters of Constitution seem to have been set to paper with a feather and ink. Die 1997 von Frank Marciuliano gestaltete Schreibschrift Linotype Constitution läßt sich in ihren Grundformen auf Zieralphabete des 18. Jahrhunderts zurückführen. Während die Versalien, die auch als Initialien mit anderen Alphabeten kombinierbar sind, ausladend und breit gestaltet sind, haben die Kleinbuchstaben zurückhaltendere Formen und eine geringere Zeichenbreite. Die Zeichen der Linotype Constitution scheinen mit getränktem Federkiel von Hand aufs Papier gebracht zu sein. Durch gut sichtbare Strichstärkenkontraste und geschwungene Formen wirkt sie lebhaft und persönlich. Sie eignet sich für kürzere und längere Texte, wenn eine nostalgische Anmutung erzielt werden soll.
