Nofret is a modern face with strong contrast and near vertical stress, first released by the Berthold foundry in 1984. Nofret is an elegant face that combines classical letterforms and proportions with modern (didone) characteristics. The italic, which is particularly beautiful, has a precise, calligraphic construction. The Nofret font family is suitable for text setting, but will prove most attractive when used for display work.
