English designer Tony Forster created the fonts Tiranti Solid™ (1993) and ITC Willow™ (1990). Tiranti Solid is based on the original textured Tiranti. This typeface lends itself more easily for use in digital formats while still maintaining the free-flowing calligraphy of the earlier design.
