Die Papyrus™ ist eine kalligrafische Antiqua mit unübersehbaren menschlichen Merkmalen wie unscharfe Kanten, unregelmäßige Kurven und hoch angehobene waagrechte Balken bei den Versalien. Diese Schrift verleiht Texten eine warme, gefällige Wirkung, ganz gleich, ob es sich um Speisekarten oder um Buchdeckel handelt. Der Amerikaner Chris Costello schuf die Papyrus im Jahr 1983 und zählt sie zu seinen besten Kreationen. Costello gestaltet nicht nur Schriften, er ist auch als Grafiker, Illustrator und Web-Designer tätig.
