DF New Chuan is a Traditional Chinese font. It supports the Big-5 standard Traditional Chinese character set.

This is a typeface based on the old Hao-Shu style, which was used in the Qin dynasty, ca. 300-400 B.C. Later known as Xiao Hao, this style dates back to the time of China's first empire, which standardized writing. The structure of this typeface is clear and symmetrical; the weight of all of the lines is the same. It is a combination of straight and rounded forms. This is a typeface suitable for historical book titles, historical events or films or advertisements relating to a historical product.
