Die Linotype Elisa gehört zu den Schriften der TakeType 3 Library . Diese wurden aus der Fülle der Einsendungen des 1999 von Linotype ausgeschriebenen Wettbewerbes "International Digital Type Design Contest" ausgewählt.

Die Linotype Elisa des Schriftkünstlers Christopher Yang ist eine Schreibschrift im Schnurzugcharakter. Ihre klare Rechtsneigung, das Ineinanderfliessen der Buchstaben und das lichte Schriftbild verleihen ihr etwas heiter-romantisches.
