About Davida™ Font Family ...
Designer: Louis Minott, 1965
The Davida™ Font Family is part of the Assorted Collection.
American designer Louis Minott first created the display typeface Davida for the Visual Graphics Corporation in 1965. Davida is an all-caps font with decorative ball terminals reminiscent of early 20th Century arts and crafts design. Davida is equally capable of representing lettering trends of the late 60s and early 70s; its letterforms seem to capture some of the psychedelic spirit that came into the air soon after the font's release.
