Designed by Gert Wiescher in 2010
Bold Bavarian is a heavy version of my Royal Bavarian that was comissioned by King Ludwig 1st of Bavaria about 1834. I always thought, that I should design a really bold version and now finally I did. But I think it should not be mixed together with the normal version. I will add some embellished cuts - like Monkey Tails, Blossoms, Swirls a.s.o. - of this font later on. Your lover of Blackletter typefaces Gert Wiescher
