Font Designer – Roger Roberson

American designer Roger Roberson created the font Letter Gothic™ in 1962. Roberson created the font for IBM. Inspired by Optima™, the font originally had flared stems. A monospaced sans serif font designed for use on an IBM Selectric typewriter, Letter Gothic is a good choice for tabular material.
