Font Designer – Hans Möhring

Hans Möhring was born on 29th November 1894 in Halle an der Saale and died on 21st May 1958 in Ludwigsburg. He was a painter and graphic artist. From 1912 to 1914 and from 1919 to 1920 he successfully completed a training course at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig. Subsequently he worked freelance in Leipzig and Berlin and then after the Second World War in Naumburg. In the 1950s he worked in Kornwestheim, first of all as a commercial artist with the Famatex Company, after which he became a freelancer.
