Linotype Alphabat is part of the TakeType Library, chosen from the entries of the 1999 International Digital Type Design Contest for inclusion on the TakeType 3 CD. The font is the work of German designer Jan Tomás and when you look closely, the figures start to change from letters into flying bats and scary faces. Linotype Alphabat can be used for very short texts however it is particularly effective for headlines in larger point sizes so that its details are emphasized.
Linotype Alphabat is a trademark of Linotype GmbH and may be registered in certain jurisdictions.
