About Globe Gothic font family

Globe Gothic was drawn by Morris Fuller Benton around 1902 after an 1897 Joseph W. Phinney design. A Lanston Monotype version was leased in 1918. There is a strong contrast between thick and thin strokes, and upper terminals are slanted. Globe Gothic is a striking font family, good for packaging and advertising.
