The Neue Helvetica® Arabic Font Family is part of the Linotype Originals.
Neue Helvetica Arabic is designed by Lebanese designer Nadine Chahine as a companion to the iconic Neue Helvetica typeface. Its designed is a clean hybrid of Kufi and Naskh structures and this enables it to function in both text and headline settings. Its curves are very low on contrast and have been designed to be formal, well-crafted and robust in appearance. This is a no nonsense typeface that lends a commanding and professional tone to many different forms of visual communication. It is ideally suited for headlines as well as short runs of text, especially in the domain of corporate communication. Its open and clear counters makes it suitable for signage as well as low resolution devices. The font includes the basic Latin part of Frutiger and support for Arabic, Persian, and Urdu. It also includes proportional and tabular numerals for the supported languages.
