About Chineze Dragon™ Font Family ...

Linotype usage sample for
Designer: Karin Huschka, 2002
The Chineze Dragon™ Font Family is part of the TakeType Collection.
Chineze Dragon is a family of three font elements that can be used together to create delightful Chinese dragons of any length and height. Each letter on the keyboard corresponds to a specific section of the dragon's body. Some sections are straight and some are curved. Mix and match them to create your ideal creature. Chineze Dragon One is the background font; Chineze Dragon Two should be layered directly over top. Chineze Dragon Three, the top layer, has the dragon's scales and claws. Ideally, each layer should be assigned a different shade of gray, or a different color. This work may be done most easily in a layered graphics application like Adobe PhotoShop or Adobe Illustrator. (A similar layering approach may be applied to text with 14 of the Lomo family's 37 fonts.) German designer Karin Huschka developed the Chineze Dragon symbol font family in 2002. If you are looking for a text font to pair with Chineze Dragon, try Peter Huschka's Linotype Chineze. The three fonts comprising the Chineze Dragon family are all part of the Take Type 5 collection from Linotype GmbH. Huschka's Linotype Chineze is included in an earlier Linotype compilation, Take Type 4.
