The Ariadne® Font Family is part of the Linotype Originals.
Since monks of the 8th century began to compile written works into books, the inital letter, of a word, sentence, page, etc., has held great importance. In this tradition, Gudrun Zapf von Hesse created the Ariadne initials, produced by D. Stempel AG in 1954.
