Font Designer – Bernd Möllenstädt
Born on 22 February 1943 in Mühlheim/Ruhr. Trained as a typesetter, then studied graphic design. From 1968, managed the Berthold Font Studio in Taufkirchen and in 1990 was appointed Artistic Director of Berthold Types. Has been working independently from his own studio near Munich since 1998. Has designed various logos, signets and corporate fonts – for Allianz, Commerzbank, VW, Skoda, Mauser Office, the Hoepfner brewery and the Süddeutsche Zeitung, among others.
