![]() Font Designer: Martin Wait, 2006 The prolific British lettering artist Martin Wait adds another arrow to his quiver of typefaces with Julietrose. A lightweight script face, Julietrose is an upright informal hand, with a low x-height and many round, swinging, and curvy elements. Julietrose’s character set includes a number of alternate forms. For the uppercase letters, each character has up to three different variants, including some very prominent swashes. The alternate forms for the lowercase letters are far more eccentric than the default glyphs; the font also includes ligatures. Julietrose is a typeface for all happy occasions, but it may be most especially apt for the spring season, picnic invitations, and children’s birthday announcements. The typeface, in fact, was named after Wait’s very own granddaughter, Julietrose. |
Let the outstanding quality of this typeface convince you.
