Here’s what you’ll find inside the Foreign Style 2 Value Pack:

Arriba™ Arriba is part of the Arriba family. This excentric calligraphic design by Phil Grimshaw includes very thick horizontal strokes. Arriba Arriba breaks these up with brilliantly moving zig zag inlines! You can almost hear the southern music playing in the background when you look at this font.

Fette Fraktur™ may well be the most popular blackletter typeface today. Based on old fashioned German headline types from the 19th century, Fette Fraktur is the perfect stand in for any traditional restaurant menu, tourist brochure, or souvenir shop.

Herculanum® Bold and Rusticana™ are both Ancient Roman-inspired designs from Adrian Frutiger, which were originally created for Linotype’s “Type Before Gutenberg” series. Herculanum Bold is named after Herculaneum, one of the ancient Roman cities destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. The typeface is based on cursive writing found on papyri from this period, and is composed of all-capital letters. Narrow caps are mixed with wide ones, and the lively strokes create an expressive line flow. Alternate caps include A, K, M, N, R, U, V, X, Y and Z.

Rusticana’s historical roots go back to the Roman Capitalis; the engraved, all-cap writing of ancient Rome that reached its peak in the first century. From this style evolved other Roman forms, and this one was particularly good for text on bronze, as opposed to stone. With its chiseled and playfully geometric letterforms, Rusticana has an earthy, artisan-like appearance.

Westside™ Regular, also designed by Adrian Frutiger, is a Wild West-inspired “wood type” style font. It is reminiscent of dusty streets, Wild West heroes and swinging saloon doors. Like the old wood types that came before it Westside Regular should be used for headlines, display-sized type, or posters.
