About Sideshow Family

Sideshow is based on lettering found on an old sideshow banner. Climb on up and see things from another angle! The oblique versions of the Sideshow fonts are deliberately skewed at an angle which is a little extreme when the type is set horizontally. The reason for this is simply that the oblique text is designed to be set at an angle on your layout (optimum angles ranging from between 30 to 45 degrees left up to right). For a more effective use of this angled text, try using an Illustration software program to set the text on a slight curve, and then angle this text on your layout as suggested above.. In the PC version of this font family the style names are slightly different from those used in the Mac versions. But the fonts are otherwise identical.
