GoldEdition 2.0 - including all of the PostScript and TrueType fonts from Linotype, Monotype and ITC - is the largest collection of traditional font formats. The fonts come from the libraries Linotype Originals, Monotype Originals, ITC Collection, TakeType Collection, Assorted Collection and Image Club Library. Now containing more than 8,000 type styles (more than 21,000 fonts), GoldEdition comes with more than double the amount as the previous version (GoldEdition 1.7.1). Some of these new font families have a promising future, like Sytax Serif or Vialog. But there have also been added typefaces with well-known names like Breughel, Charlotte Sans und Serif, Icone, Lucida, ITC Modern, Neo, Veto and Zapf International. According to a growing interest, there are well-rounded families, e. g., Berling Nova, Briem, Graphite, Ocean, Prosper and Sassoon. Extensions of existing families like Avenir Central European, Frutiger Cyrillic and Neue Helvetica Cyrillic are worth mentioning as well.

The data carrier of GoldEdition 2.0 contains a 630 page catalog (/Catalogs/GoldEdition 2.0 Catalog.pdf), visualizing the range of the included fonts and showing the available font formats for each typeface.
The fonts can be used immediately without an unlocking code.
The GoldEdition 2.0 is vailable exclusively on DVD from Linotype.
